I'd love to have something like that as the ULTIMATE truck gun - for a driver, trying to run the zombie apocalypse gauntlet, that should ride easy while you're driving!

I love this little rifle, and the upper and rails are made as one with LMT's monolithic upper it just feels like a little tank.
I have the 12" LMT piston version of this rifle also, I run it suppressed and coyote hunt with it.

Good to see you WW
Picked this one up 2 weeks ago. Switched out the old a2 upper for the flat top. Guy is picking it up on Wednesday. I may get one for myself and convert it to an SPR.

EDIT (1/19/2014): It's been a few months but here is the rifle after doing a couple upgrades.

Looks sharp! Got any range reports on it yet?
No range report yet. I'm chickenshit when it comes to the cold. I'm going to change out the barrel soon enough anyway. The old Bushmaster Barrel wasn't phosphated under the sight post. Kinda ticked me off. I've got an Eotech on my carbine but this is my first attempt at dealing with a scope. It isn't an expensive one but I've heard decent things about them.

Welcome to BUShamster - they're somewhat notorious for that. Blush
Yeah, I've had Bushies before but never stripped one down.

So what barrel are you planning on using now?

Back when Kevin Johnson was still in Monroeville (Johnson Tactical Rifles), he was his own millwright, with a lathe turning his own custom barrels. Mine was THE last rifle he ever made, before moving out to WA state.

I've got no real plan on it yet. I'm likely going to just buy a 20" from Del Ton or one of my suppliers. I read your AR15 Armory post on Johnson. Very nice rifle.

It's been a while since I've been here. I've bought a couple more since my last visit.

Picked up the Cobray M11 at the end of summer at a gun show. It's heavy, not accurate and the trigger sucks, but I felt I had to have it.

Picked this up Saturday at Gander Mtn. 2 reasons for getting this. I love The Walking Dead and Rick's Python .357 is sweet. Unfortunately, I can't afford a Colt. The other is my dad has a .357 and I loved shooting it.
