THINKIN' 'bout some beadlocks for my RC... but I think I'd wanna go with the military axle setup (Dana 60 front/14 bolt rear) and convert to at LEAST 16.5" wheels,
before sinking money into beadlocks.
I come across 80-90 dodge trucks all the time with 4.11-4.56 Dana 60 front and back with a gov lock all the time for around $500.

They're all over the junkyards here also. As for those 265/75R16 tires- I have 285s on the wife's attack sub. 265/75s are the same height as 235/85s but 2inches skinnier = better fuel economy + they're way cheaper and came on almost every 1/2 & 1 ton ever made. Take a look at gladiator qT9000 mt tires - been hearing good things.
