I was raised in the woods damn near from birth. I have been shooting, fishing, and camping as long as I can remember. Survival in the wilderness has always been a hobby, quite serious sometimes, for a long, long time. It wasn't until the last 6 years or so that I started thinking about a complete fall of our society and what would I have to offer.
I played the standard post apocalyptic games like the Fallout series, L4D, and Resident Evil. The movies are what really made the zombie craze fun for me. I firmly believe that preparation for that sort of disaster is enough to prepare for just about anything.
Besides, what's are a couple thousand extra rounds bad for anyway? :-)
