Wow. Really? I remember hopping on the BSBs with the modem that you had to put the handset into. It was soooo awesome once they got to a 4 digit baud rate.

man, I think the only time I ever used dial-up I also used a 28.8k modem! and believe it or not, I still have an aol username/email from way way back, but I haven't used the software aol in years..maybe every 6-7 months I'll check my email on aol.com, but I almost never do...think my Mom still actually uses aol now.
