Quote:PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Demonstrators marched through Downtown Pittsburgh and the North Shore this evening in another protest over the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Antwon Rose Jr. by East Pittsburgh police officer Michael Rosfeld.
By the evening hours, two different protests had shut down the Homestead Grays Bridge and two entrances to Route 28. Route 28 was closed for a short time coming off of 279, by the 9th Street Bridge, but reopened as protesters quickly moved through. The demonstrators then headed towards East Ohio Street and over to the Allegheny Center Mall and back toward PNC Park.

At 11 p.m. on the North Shore, a car appeared go through the crowd and then was hit by some of the protesters as it passed by. Then, a larger crowd began to gather, chanting the whole world is watching. Police in riot gear then began to line up along the streets.

The protest began at the Wood Street T Station this afternoon. Officials blocked off a section of Liberty Avenue, and the protesters formed a circle.

They then went on the move, marching down 6th Street and over the Roberto Clemente Bridge.
They stood on the bridge, already closed for the Friday night’s Pittsburgh Pirates’ game, chanting and rallying for a short time, then moved further down, ending up in front of PNC Park.

Traffic on Fort Duquesne Boulevard was moving without many issues from the protest.
The protesters held signs including one reading, “Fire Killer Cop.”

Quote:UPDATED (7:30 p.m.) Tonight the Allegheny County Police Superintendent responded to multiple reports that Antwon Rose had gunshot residue on his hand, and there is video that apparently shows Rose firing a gun during a shooting minutes before an East Pittsburgh officer shot and killed him as he ran away. That statement is below.  
The Superintendent did not say who did open fire in the drive-by in North Braddock just after 8 p.m. on Tuesday wounding a 22-year-old man.  
No arrests have been made in that case. There was also no additional information about the District Attorney’s statement to Channel 11 today that an empty gun clip was found on Rose after the shooting in East Pittsburgh. 
Channel 11 is also waiting to hear if the officer who shot Antwon Rose, Michael Rosfeld, has been interviewed by Allegheny County Police.

UPDATE 9:25 p.m. Friday: Attorneys for both sides have spoken, and protesters have taken to the streets of downtown Pittsburgh.

Thomassey confirmed to Pittsburgh's Action News 4 he is unharmed, and said he received a call about the shots being fired into the building around 12:30 a.m. Saturday.
Thomassey said he found three to four bullet holes in the wall.
Police are investigating.
