When purchasing a firearm obviously we all have to fill out the proper paperwork and complete the ATF Form 4473 which then is relayed to the PA State Police Firearms division who then determines if you are allowed to own a firearm, disqualified or other then relays to the seller if they can proceed with the purchase or turn you down and and deem that you will not get the purchase by answering a few questions, Have you ever been in a mental facility, are you a felon, have you ever been convicted of a crime that would have resulted in a sentence over 1 year of incarceration, are you subject to a current protective order from a previous wife, or significant other. Plus a few others. Anyhow, So I went to purchase a new Smith & Wesson SD9VE 9mm and filled out the paperwork, No I am not a felon, No I am not under any protection order (PFA) against an ex, No I'm not a nutcase, nor have I ever been, No I have never committed a crime that would throw me in the clink for more than a year Exp. 1 yr & 1 day. No I have not given up my American citizenship or rights... So after they call the PSP and ask is it ok that this guy buys this gun, they didn't say yes or no, they said the PSP would have to further "RESEARCH" my history to determine Yay or Nay! Has anyone ever had this happen to them ??? RE: Pennsylvania 2nd Amendment Forums - The War Wagon - 04-28-2018 I hear of it happening more and more - particularly on larger boards, like, Calguns.  I thik they're gtting so skittish these days, unpaid parking tickets might even flag the system.     The frustrating thing is, people like, the Waffle House Numbnut, RIGHTLY get THEIR guns taken away... and then daddy gives them BACK to precious snowflake (I hope they both hang TOGETHER in the town square ).  And then the law-abiding get more anal probes than Eric Cartman, in the name of... 'safety.' If ONLY this were true...
