I use 40mm cans for storage, but fatboys make NICE range cans; that, and I wouldn't mind moving out of my .30 for cleaning gear/supplies.

These are new manufactured, not surplus. Doubt anybody is selling new manufactured saw boxes.

OK... I generall like an Army/Navy store for my ammo cans (especially oddball sizes) - Cal Army/Navy in California, PA, being my favorite.
BUT... I did get this in my inbox from Midway today; and I didn't even realize they carried milsurp stuff!

IF anybody needs some NEW cans - after all your ammo "stocking up" of late - and you're in Sector 4 (although I suppose they could ship 'em), Legion Arms still has NICE 40mm cans (I almost bought another when I was there a couple of weeks ago), as well as .50's (and maybe some .30's - I can't remember).
They ALSO have more than a few revolvers in-stock, too - including tupperware!

I picked up a half-dozen plastic ammo cans from Walmart at $6.98 a piece. As I said they are plastic they are not the metal ones but they do the same job and they are much cheaper.

No matter what you can never have enough ammo. When TSHTF that ammo becomes your lifeline, your Saving Grace, your six o'clock guard dog and a bargaining chip.

I prefer metal, only because I see people having trouble when plastic ones get full, with bending/warping/breaking.
I MIGHT have a spare 40mm ($25), if you want one today.
