PITTSBURGH — The FBI is assisting Pittsburgh police to investigate reports of explosions in two Pittsburgh neighborhoods on Sunday evening.

Police said there is a surveillance video that shows an incendiary device being thrown out of a white pickup truck before it exploded.

No one was injured, but a parked car was damaged. Police don’t believe there is any threat to residents nearby.

[*]Shortly after 10:30 p.m., there was another report of an explosion in the 200 block of Dinwiddie Street in the Hill District.
Homeowners called 911, saying they could feel their houses shaking and could smell an odor in the air.
Police said they were reviewing footage of the second incident. The Bomb Squad responded with explosives-sniffing K9s, but no evidence has been recovered.
Police said it’s too early to say if the incidents are connected or not. They also said they don’t believe anybody was targeted.
