The top is 1.75" steel bars, that plastic is just a cover that is part of the SE (Special Edition) package that gives it the roof cover, the alluminum mags, and the nitro charged shocks with red powder coated springs...as well as the sexy "liquid metal" body wrap. I think the SE package was a $1800 upgrade, but the cost is worth it just for the suspension. The rims and body wrap are icing on the cake.

Being that the entire roll cage is standard steel, it can be welded to or modified pretty easy. There many companies that offer aftermarket hand built roll cages for various special uses ranging from 4 seat applications typical in the western USA desert/dune use to the low profile cages for motocross style racing of the Rhino. I personally would not mind a lower cage, as I am 5'9" and the cage is made to fit 7' tall gorrilas.... it hits many branches and angled trees. Lucky that the thing is bend/bash proof! I have smashed it hard and stopped the 1,100 lb ATV dead on the front upright bars and done no damage. It is tough stuff.

I can see welding up a pivot mount so that a man could stand in the bed and have a secure rifle mount just like you see in millitary trucks and such.

Because ZeDs are coldblooded, i dont think my heat seeking missiles will work.... Do we have any cold seeking missles, ones that will target zombies and not Mr. Softy???
Yeah its called a 30mm cannon, and carpet bombing, with some 12.5" rockest for good measure.
mmmmmmmm

me loves a nice napalm attack. =)
If we're going wishlist airborne, I'll take an AC-130 or an Osprey.

I got it a week or so ago.
3000# winch
4X4 w/ Differential lock
10" suspension travel with 1' to the skid plate
6.5 gal. fuel tank
200# on rear rack
2" built in receiver

Doesn't beat a Blackhawk though, but hey it's perfect for sneaking up for Ambush purposes.

does it run over zombies just fine?
Bah!, childs toy.

Just kidding on the childs toy thing, but I think a Rhino is a much better assault vehicle. Fast, carries 2 adults, carries upto 600 lbs of gear in the dump bed, heavy bumpers, winch, can smash down trees and zombies and has power enough to pull broken down full size diesel crew cab 4x4 trucks!

Every man loves his toys!

The Yamaha RHINO is the way to travel!
