Taking a trip to Boston. According to the map on that poofa site, I can't legally carry it there with my PA permit. Anyone know if this map is up to date?

I can't speak to whether or not the map is updated, but I do know that MA does not have reciprocity with PA.
hey colonel

mass does not have reciprocity, but you can apply for a ccw permit. check out the pa attorney general website....

MA is an antigun state. I'm traveling to NJ and NY this weekend. I would never break the law, nope never Wink Just remember the world is going to shit fast! Better to be judged by 12 then to be carried by......fuck that, I'm not getting carried by anyone!
According to this map, you'd have to get a non-resident permit for Mass. I don't know what all that entails. I'm in the process of getting a non-res permit in Va., so I can carry in De. Doesn't make sense, does it? Hurry up with the National Right to Carry Reciprocity Law already!

Map's easy. Click on Pa as your resident permit state and it shows reciprocity. Click on others as secondary states, and the map changes. It's a Festivus miracle!

The PAFOA map is not up to date. USACarry is up to date. The last two added for PA were Wisconsin and Maine.

Also, if you do get a non res permit for MA (about as likely as being allowed to carry in Jersey from what I hear) there are quite a few compliance restrictions that you will need to look into. There are magazine restrictions similar to CA/NJ/MD. I am not well versed at all but my understanding is there is a list of "approved" MA handguns. I'm not sure if that only applies to what can be sold in the state or what, just be sure to research.
Here is some nra state law and reciprocity info for MA.

Normally i would say get a florida or utah non-res permit since they cover so many states but they dont apply to MA either.

If you don't hear from me after the new year, I may need to be bailed out of jail for my felony gun possession charge.
