Yeah, I know a few Kimber owners who complained about their Kimbers too.

I've personally been considering picking up a RI 1911 in 9mm to tinker with it.
Andrew, if you get a chance, take a look at http://centerfiresystems.com/AC-RI1911-9MM-22TCM.aspx . It's a 9mm/22 combo. Found it interesting, and you get two guns for $529, basically.... They also have a few 9mm 1911 stylings for under $400, cheapest I've seen....

correct me if I'm wrong, but the .22 TCM is their own proprietary cartridge, yes?
Some of my Zombie killing equipment.

I have a SIG Sauer 1911 and a Rock Island 1911. Both have given me the same number of problems... zero. I'd trust my life to either.
Andrew, you are correct. I didn't look at the whole title, just 22(oops). The 22TCM does look interesting, even though it wasn't my intention to bring it up. A shortened cartridge 223 for a handgun? Sounds good to me! I wonder if it would chamber in a 223 rifle? And if so, that would be amazing to be able to stock one ammo for several firearms, much like the 5.7x28 that FN is pushing.....
Matty, nice collection, too....
For my team and me....to start. Smile

Was thinking of the dual firearm deal too. I've been looking at the ballistics, die availability etc. Should make a great combo.
I love my 1911(s), but don't think that even Kimbers can't be flawed. I LOVE mine, but found this image about a week ago on another site and decided to save it. Perhaps it will illustrate what I mean...
