I had a good idea the other day. As I'm sure we all know, opencarry.org and pafoa have those gun rights fliers for giving to those whose eyes have not been opened. Who else here is thinking of a Zombie pamphlet that we could whip up. How badass would it be to have a get together for the sake of educating the populace about Zombies, we could hand out a ton of those fliers. Give me your opinions on the flier or a getogether with signs and zrt shirts. I would be willing to brain storm with somebody to think up what to put on there.

Getting the site together is kind of in a holding pattern right now. I started a thread or two in the support forum asking members for ideas on site content and got next to no responses so apparently the members don't want to have an actual site. That pretty much kills any ideas for pamphlets since they'd be a "heres some basics, for more info see pazrt.com" deal.

Now if the members actually stepped up and said "this should be in the FAQ... There should be a page of...." etc etc we could move forward. We're supposed to be a team, but how the hell are we ever gonna work together on major issues if we can't even figure out how to decorate our online home?

Well we need to get a core membership down, We need someone to organize us so to speak, I cannot donate that required time, due to 80 hr work weeks... But i post when i can. And chime in when i can. As for wanting us to be a team, Id love that. For any reason something happens, i would like to know someone has my back you know...

Post some ideas in the support and suggestions forum. If theres a particular page you think the site should have say so. If theres an question/answer you want to see in the FAQ post it in the FAQ thread. Others can and will handle getting it put up on the site, we just need to know what people want to see here and get some ideas for the content.

Well, one good way the begin setting up our information delivery is to define a mission statement for PAZRT. That way, we have a better guideline for what this site is for, other than 'anything and everything zombie'.

For example, heres Zombie Squad's;

Zombie Squad is an elite zombie suppression task force ready to defend your neighborhood from the shambling hordes of the walking dead. We provide trained, motivated, skilled zombie extermination professionals and zombie survival consultants. Our people and our training are the best in the industry.

When the zombie removal business is slow we focus our efforts towards educating ourselves and our community about the importance of disaster preparation.

To satisfy this goal we host disaster relief charity fundraisers, disaster preparation seminars and volunteer our time towards emergency response agencies.

Our goal is to educate the public about the importance of personal preparedness and self reliance, to increase its readiness to respond to disasters such as Earthquakes, Floods, Terrorism or Zombie Outbreaks. We want to make sure you are prepared for any crisis situation that might come along in your daily life which may include having your face eaten by the formerly deceased.

While I'm not looking to copy them, having a similar statement fitting the ideas and purpose of the ZRT would be a great start for us.

So, getting back to the topic at hand; informational fliers.

Noramal tri-fold flier gives us 6 panels of information to work with.

Front- PAZRT logo and slogan (One in the head, make sure they're dead!/Ready. Set. Survive./etc). Nice catchy representative graphic, and prominent web address.

Inside 1- Mission Statement, and or other information on who we are/what we do.
Inside 2- 'Tips and Tricks' or 'FAQs' of zombie survival.
Inside 3- List of essential items for a personal bug out bag.
Inside 4- List of essential home emergency stockpile items.
Back- Sector Map, web address, and slogan.

Sound about right?
