I put this in the 'Gear' portion of the site because that's what I consider it, and why I bought it.

Bug out bag, and most likely back seat of the truck bound.. seems something that might be useful should I ever come across a breach/extraction situation (and thus, much more likely to be useful in my vehicle than strapped to my bag).

Anyways, glad it wasn't too long of a wait (just under 3 months). Smaller than I had originally thought it would be, and I was anticipating something small, but just as badass as I knew it would be.

I apologize for the crappy pictures as I'm not a photographer.

I think I'm going to test it a bit on the dead tree in the yard waiting to come down. Or perhaps the cheap safe that broke on me that I still have things inside of...

"AUT VIAM INVENIAM AUT FACIAM"

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inveniam_viam

"Aut inveniam viam aut faciam" (or "Aut viam inveniam aut faciam"[1]) is Latin for "I shall either find a way or make one."[2][3][4]

The phrase has been attributed to Hannibal; when his generals told him it was impossible to cross the Alps by elephant, this was supposedly his response. However, Hannibal would have spoken in Punic, not Latin. The first part of the sentence, "inveniam viam", "I shall find a way," also appears in other contexts in the tragedies of Seneca, spoken by Hercules and by Oedipus, and in Seneca's Hercules Furens (Act II, Scene 1, line 276) the whole sentence appears, in third person: "inveniet viam, aut faciet."

It has also been frequently used as a motto; for instance, it was used in this way by Francis Bacon,[5] and is now used in this way by the S.T.E.M. Academy at University High School in Orange City, Florida and Holton-Arms School in Bethesda, Maryland, by Chigwell School in Essex, England,[6] by York House School in Hertfordshire, England,[1], by Swansea Medical School RFC in Swansea, Wales and by Combat Logistics Battalion 24 in the United States Marine Corps. A painting in the National Portrait Gallery, likely of Sir Philip Sidney, is adorned with this phrase.[7] In The Dunciad, Alexander Pope writes of John Henley that he "turned his rhetoric to buffoonry" by handing out medallions engraved with this motto.[8]
[edit] Variants

The first word "aut" may be omitted, corresponding to omitting the English word "either" from the translation.

“Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.” ~Cesare Beccaria

That is AWESOME!!! However, for that price, I can buy 7 or 8 SOG tactical hawks...
If my money tree out back ever starts producing, I'll buy one!

buying a SOG Tactical post zompocalypse day may be difficult.. unless you already have a few on hand, in which case you should have just got the RMJ. will the SOG hold an edge after breaching a door/car/cinder block wall? I don't know much about them.

I agree though.. it is quite pricey. It was my one real splurge this year.
