Sector 2, Reporting
Just checking in here from Sector 2. I currently live in Snyder County of Sector 2. But I work in Lycoming County. So I travel through Snyder County, Union County, and into Lycoming County. I am also pretty familiar with parts of Tioga, Centre, and Clinton counties.

So post up where you are at in Sector 2!

Re: Sector 2, Reporting
Well, I've read World War Z and the Zombie Survival Guide so I guess I'm ready for when it happens. I've got plenty of guns, ammo and the books/tools to fix them.

RE: Sector 2, Reporting
State College is sadly NOT where I want to be if they show up. Too enclosed an area, but sadly I must travel through it to get home from work. So I cover that town while I live in Centre Hall

RE: Sector 2, Reporting
I am about 15 miles outside of State College - Centre County.

I do not have many of the abilities typically mentioned in reference to "the end", but the following abilities have served me well - personally as well as financially for decades. I suspect they would help the "team" if.....

-I appear unassuming
-Can get along with almost all types of people
-I listen more than I speak
-I hear and see things because when I am there, I don't seem to be paying attention to what is going on around me
-Many people feel comfortable confiding in me
-You might say I have the ability to mediate
-I can be persuasive
-Have the ability to "see" how something "else" might work "in place of what normally would be used" when building or making something ( http://www.pazrt.com/forum/thread-invict...4#pid14364 read this thread through and including post# 15 to see one small, recent example. It saved me $50.00 and the satisfaction of being able to make something work correctly)
-Have the ability to improvise in situations ( http://www.pazrt.com/forum/thread-invict...4#pid14364 read this thread through and including post# 15 to see one small, recent example. It saved me $50.00 and the satisfaction of being able to make something work correctly)
-I always have multiple, conventional weapons on my person when legal
-When not legal - Have the ability to improvise in situations
-Many years Off Roading experience
-Multiple, professional small arms training courses
-I try to practice 2 or 3 times a month to keep my skills up

RE: Sector 2, Reporting
Anyone argue that improvisational skills is a form of creativity?

Well that alone is a good skill to have. Having one thing and figuring out how to use it in another manner.

Sector 2 will need as much of that as we can get since there are so few of us.

I am very crafty and easily adapt to not having things... ok I get cranky when my computer dies but really I think that will be overlooked after things get busy with the walking dead.

I have a bad habit that could end up being a good one that is collecting things "just in case."

Smart, adaptable, pretty damn mellow and I do not have a habit of freaking out in dangerous situations.

This is one lady that most certainly will not be wearing heals that break while running from monsters, only to fall and look back to scream as they encroach. I own steel toes. =P

I shoot, bow, pistol and some shotgun, rifle and rather like hanging out in the woods. I have some basic skills with herbs (no not the smokeable ones) and am trying to learn more.

I have no problem acting as leader when needed, but I also dont mind taking orders from intelligent sources. Meaning that there is a lot of give and take there in that regard.

ok I dont know what else to say so i will leave it at that.

RE: Sector 2, Reporting
Reporting in from State College; Campus Security Sgt. applying for LEO status (with luck, in the near future).
Proficient with rifle, shotgun, in training for handguns.
Small arsenal including rifle, shotguns, handguns, crossbow, assorted blades
marginal knowledge of electronics, currently pioneering tests into portable wind generator from 'recycled' parts.
In-depth knowledge of campus tunnels/ research centers/ "safe" areas
Some architectural experience
Plans in place for a variety of z-types, pathogen type, infection onset speed, etc.
Persuasive, adaptable leader with no problems taking point, or letting someone else take the lead.
Direct access to Fire, Police, EMT, HazMat crews
First Responder and First Aid training pending

Looking forward to (hopefully) never having to use all that.
