SEC-4 meeting spot

SEC-4 meeting spot
I think that in case of SHTF/Z-day we should all meet at PMSC in order to group up before heading out to whatever central ZRT location is developed.

Any other good options?

I figure we all know PMSC pretty well, and we will prob get a few non-zrt group shooters as well as regular PMSC members.
There are limited gates, defensiable buildings that lock up pretty tight.

what say you?

Re: SEC-4 meeting spot
I'll be there before we make an exodus to a better defensible location.

Suggestion - bring everything you need to survive and bring ALL weapons. Do a swap meet with people on accesories and ammunition during this time to make sure you have what you need and they have what they need.

Re: SEC-4 meeting spot
The IPSC bays have some good high ground with good shooting lanes to the only road in. We have some shelter up there but not as much as the combo building.

I say reinforce the gate and lodge everyone in the combo building and post shooters on the roof and the hill.

It's easy to get onto the property from areas other than the road, that gate mainly would keep cars out.

It's a lot of ground, and it's not fenced in...lots of living areas around...I still vote this as a meeting place only.

Re: SEC-4 meeting spot
Fair enough.

My place is decent for bugging in, high ground and one road in (with a few ways out fast).

Also, my place of employment (which I will not disclose) houses about 100 beds, full kitchen, laminate on the windows, several fenced in outdoor areas, and is on high ground. It is fairly self-contained with access to a few major highways and could be easily defended. I am reluctant, however to suggest it in more than a joking manner because there are logistics that would have to be figured out that I am not prepared for (even in a humorous sense)

Re: SEC-4 meeting spot
Problem with PMSC, too many damn woods, don't want anything surrounding us without being able to see, there is a possibility of fast moving zombies that are stealthy. I'd rather have something with a clear LOS for a good bit around, being flanked by z's in the woods would be bad.

Re: SEC-4 meeting spot
IMHO, PMSC is too close to Pittsburgh. Shouldn't we be looking for a location away from a major population center? However, PMSC is almost dead center of SEC-4, so that fact may make it the best area to meet.
