Meeting point for the Lehigh Valley.
Hey Sector 7, I figured sooner rather than later we should choose a location, and a few backup locations, to meet and prepare for Z-day.

So I'm thinking we could pick one primary location, a secondary backup, and a tertiary fallback spot.

What do you guys think?

I was thinking somewhere outside of ABE specifically, perhaps a little north in the Wind Gap/Pen Argyl/Bath area. Lots of land, no too many people. I think that area would be nice. 512/191/611/33 all run up through there.

O well, just throwing out some ideas. If anyone knows of any good places throw out some ideas here. If I get enough responses I will start a thread with a poll, so we can democratically choose a spot.

RE: Meeting point for the Lehigh Valley.
Considering im not to far away, I'd love to help locate a rally point, Your area is fine, Just take into consideration we need some type of communication, CB radios are going to be KEY but unfortunatly, We need to come up with a code book for the radio. As people will be listening friendly or not..

RE: Meeting point for the Lehigh Valley.
Im in the Valley as well... but i live on the western end of it so me getting to any of those major roads running up to the area you mentioned might be a challenge in a SHTF senario..... the only easy way for me to get over to the 512/33/191 area is Rt 22 ... and unless im gonna be running across the car and truck rooftops, i might be a lil late!! hahaha.
I do think that is a good area though that you have picked out. Dont worry about me, you name the place and I'll fight through the mess to get there!! Big Grin

I live about 15 minutes west of Valley Forge. I'd rather not travel too far, but if I have to, I have to.

Is there any one taking charge of the Airborne Commo. What communication devices are we using?

The Wind Gap area would be great. We could always shield ourselves up in the blue ridge if necessary.
